Este sitio se considera una de las tumbas reales m\u00e1s importantes del antiguo Egipto, donde fueron enterrados reyes y reinas de las antiguas dinast\u00edas egipcias durante los per\u00edodos del Imperio Antiguo y el Imperio Nuevo (alrededor de 1550-1070 a. C.). <\/p>\n<p>Las tumbas del Valle de los Reyes son famosas por su inigualable importancia hist\u00f3rica y art\u00edstica. Contienen las tumbas de los antiguos reyes egipcios, incluyendo la tumba del rey Tutankam\u00f3n, descubierta por el arque\u00f3logo brit\u00e1nico Howard Carter en 1922, documentada en la mitolog\u00eda egipcia.
